Lots of Love - Whimsy Stamps

I am behind on my posting for Whimsy Stamps.
I am still dealing with medical issues and the new
meds aren't working like they should be.  So I'm sorry
for being late and missing last week's post.

For my post today, I am using 2 stamps
for Whimsy Stamps created by Crissy Armstrong,
Fancy Bench and Valerie and Kitty Sitting Pretty  and
one stamp sentiment set from Raindrop Echo Designs
Spring Letter Seals.
You can click on the stamp names and it will take you to
where you can buy them in the Whimsy Stamps Store.

I just LOVE the stamps and images from Crissy.
They are so very sweet and real fun to color in.
Here's a closeup of my colored image:
I stamped Valerie and Kitty Sitting Pretty onto my Cryogen
card stock and then I masked her and stamped the
Fancy Bench, so it looks like she is sitting on the bench.
I am getting better at this masking technique. I then
colored in my images with my copics and I did a
dotted ground as I wanted it to look like my bench was
on the ground and not just there in the air..... I'm also
getting better at doing this as well....  The copics do
take lots of practice to get used to the markers and also
to get better at the different techniques.....

And a close up of the Spring Letter Seal:
I stamped my sentiment onto Cryogen card stock
as well with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
The sentiment set has interchangeable middles so you
can personalize your sentiment to which ever words you like to.
They are pretty fun to play with.....

And one last look at my awesome creation:

It is also Thursday and that means there is a
new digi release from Meljen's Designs, so
go to the Whimsy Stamps Store and check out
the new digis that are there....

Designer's Choice Challenge - Repeat Impressions

It's time for a new Challenge series over at the House that Stamps Built
Here's how the "Designer's Choice Challenge" will work!
All of the fabulous design team members for Repeat Impressions
will be assigned a Wednesday, and we get to set the
"theme" for the challenge!  The Theme for this
week's DCC is hosted by Robin and she is challenging
you all to create a card using these three colors…
kraft, robin’s egg blue and rust. Plus you may use
one neutral color of your choice… white, ivory, brown or black.

For my DCC, I used the stamp called
"Rebecca - 708-K".  I stamped my
image onto Cryogen Card Stock and she is
colored in with my Copics.  I used one
of the new Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Motifs to cut out
my image and for the corner pieces. I really like the color
combo, but when I read the challenge, I kinda left out the
Rust color.  So in order to save my creation, I added
my sentiment in Rust colored ink.  Hope this is okay Robin....

Here is a closer look at my colored image:

Repeat Impressions What IF Wednesday Sketch Challenge

Today I do not have a card to share, but
my youngest Daughter Melanie does.
This is her creation.... Hope you enjoy.....

She used the Giraffe and Frame - 5301M from
Repeat Impressions for her card.
She stamped it with Top Boss and added some
Gold detail embossing powder to the giraffe
and some black sparkly embossing powder to the
frame.  She then used the heat gun.  She cut
out her image with one of my spellbinders dies and
used one of the newer dies for the mat behind her
Giraffe.  She decided to use gold card stock for her
card base and black for her other color.
She added some gold 1/4" ribbon to the strip of black
at the top of her card, and added some pearls to finish
it off.

Here's a closeup of her Giraffe and Frame, see
all the sparkle......

I think she did a wonderful job of following the sketch
for the What If Wednesday Challenge.  She is entering
this challenge, it's her very first one, so keep your fingers crossed
for her......  Check back to see some more creations
that Melanie creates as we go along.  She is my
Crafting buddy......

Sweet Stamps Frame It Challenge

It's Tuesday and it's time for another
awesome challenge over at Sweet Stamps.
The challenge this week is Frame It, you must
use a frame on your creation.

My card for today's challenge is pretty simple.
I just haven't been feeling too well lately, so I
went with simple and easy..... I will
redo my challenge card later this week as I really
don't feel that this one is up to my standards....
Anyway, here is my simple and easy card:

I used the Cameo Lady stamp, she already
has a frame around her, but I added another
frame with my layering of my dies.
I went with using the Parchment craft again.  I
am really liking the way that this looks.  She is
stamped onto the vellum with Shades White Dye ink and
embossed with fine white detail embossing powder.
I then used my parchment tools to do the embossing.
I colored on the back side with my Memento markers
to give her some color.
Here's a closer look at my Cameo Lady:

I created my purple frame by layering 2 of the Cheery Lynn
Oval Classic dies.  I attached my frame with some pop dots
to give it a little bit of dimension.  I finished off my
card with some corner die cuts.  Simple and easy....

One last look at my card for today:

Please join us at Sweet Stamps this week for
this awesome challenge of Frame It. The details on the challenge
are on the Sweet Stamps blog.  Take a peek

Class Act Anything But a Card Challenge

The Class Act DT is a little late this month
on our Challenge.  We have been making some
changes, so we got an extra week to work
on our Creations.

I made an 8x8 scrapbook page.  I used the stamp called
"Sunflower Birdhouses". My image is stamped
onto Cryogen Iridescent Card Stock and colored in with my
copics.  I used my Spellbinders Blossom 2 die
to cut out my flower shapes.  I left them blank
so that I can come back and add pictures or do
a bit of journaling on them.  I added some buttons
to finish it off.  I was trying for the Folk Country look.
Not sure how close to that I came, but I'm
pretty happy with my page.

Here is a close up of my colored image, so you
can see how my image is colored:
This closeup also shows the sparkle of the Cryogen
Iridescent Card Stock.  I LOVE this card stock, it
