Crafter's Companion February Challenge

Hi Everyone!!!   Today is the 1st of March and that means it is time for a NEW challenge on the Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog.  This month our challenge to you is to make a project using a Crafter's Companion Stamp and the theme "Going Green".  We want you to create a project with the color green in mind, it can be a card, layout, altered item, etc.  Just make sure you use a Crafter's Companion stamp in order to have a chance to win an awesome PRIZE.

The prize for this challenge is 3 packages of the new Spectrum Noir Alcohol Ink 6 Marker Sets (your choice of color groupings) and a Spectrum Noir 36 Pen Zipper Bag to store your new markers.  These are some really awesome markers and they are very affordable.  Give them a try and you will like them as much as I do.

Here is my creation for the March Challenge of Going Green:

I used the Swalk Daydream Believer stamp set.  I didn't want to use a dark or a really bright green color, so I went for a very soft green color.  I also used my blender pen to make the lightest color very light.  I used the tip to tip method.  I also used my  markers to color my white ribbon the same green color that I used on my image and to color the white pearls in the 4 corners. I used a cloud template and created some clouds.  My sentiment is stamped onto card stock and I cut it to look like a banner.  I created it to look a bit wavy when I attached it to my card.

Here's a picture of my card flat so you can see the wavy banner:
I added a bunch of pearls to finish off my card.

So get out those Crafter's Companion stamps and start creating for this challenge and you could win the awesome prize mentioned above.

Make sure you go to the Crafter's Companion USA Challenge Blog to get all the details of how to enter, etc....

Thanks For Stopping By,

Dawn B
